What a fun (and loud) series this was! The kids learned about all kinds of musical instruments. We did this through our usual arts and craft projects, games and songs. The highlight of the last 3 weeks was teaching the kids a maraca dance to the song "Shake It". What a hoot they are to watch! Doing the dance has become part of our morning routine. Even though we are done learning about music, I think we'll be keeping "Shake It" around for awhile. The kids are getting so good at it. (You'll see more videos of it later...it's awesome)
